compare2pdf is a free online tool for comparing two versions of a PDF.
What it does
Open the original and the revised file. compare2pdf lists every change in the text and in the form fields, marks each one on both documents and keeps the pages side by side while you scroll.
When you are done, you can save the checked PDF or export it with every finding boxed and numbered, followed by a summary page.
Who it is for
Anyone who has to sign off on a revised document: contract and legal reviewers, procurement teams, editors, engineers checking specifications, accountants comparing statements and students checking feedback.
Private by design
The whole comparison runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, which is why compare2pdf works for confidential documents and why it does not need an account.

All features are free. Advertising on the site pays for development and hosting. Ads are never placed on top of your documents.
